I'm a second year student in Loyalist College's Photojournalism program and a graduate of Queen's University, where I completed my Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Human Geography and Psychology. While I was there, I served as the Photography Editor at its twice-weekly student newspaper, the Queen's Journal.

I'm fascinated by how people and places shape each other, and how this relationship affects the realities that individuals face every day. I'm curious about culture and how community is formed and perceived. I want to make pictures that are impactful, emotional and unique.

Growing up in British Columbia's beautiful Lower Mainland gave me an appreciation for both the urban and the outdoors. I'm an avid cyclist, fond of mountains, roads and anywhere in between.

I recently spent my summer as the photography intern at Toronto Community News, which publishes nine newspapers in the city of Toronto, including the Scarborough Mirror, North York Mirror and InsideToronto.com.
